What happens when you call.
- You call the office nearest you, Sunset Hills, Kansas City or Spring, and tell us the address and what you saw: a drip in the ceiling, shingles in the yard, hail dents on the gutters, a limb on the roof. A visit is booked for that week.
- With your okay, we go up, photograph every slope, valley and penetration, and walk you through the photos before we leave the driveway. If you would rather nobody climbs, we measure from the ground and the estimate says so.
- The written estimate is in your email inside the week, for your records. Itemized, one total, good for thirty days. The number on the paper is the number you pay.
- If water is coming in, that order flips: a crew tarps the open decking the same day or the next morning, and the repair or replacement gets priced once the house is dry.
- On build day the crew is on site at seven. Tear-off to the deck, rotten decking swapped at the per-sheet price printed on the estimate, ice and water shield at the eaves and in the valleys, synthetic underlayment, then the shingle you picked. We run the magnet over the lawn twice, haul the dumpster, and email the finished-roof photos that night.
What we do on a roof, and what we do around it.
Ask about one of these- New roof installation New builds and additions from the decking up: drip edge, ice and water shield, synthetic underlayment, architectural shingles and ridge vent, in the colour you pick.
- Roof replacement Full tear-off, then architectural shingles from the major brands. A single-story ranch in Kirkwood or Klein is usually closed up in one day.
- Roof repair Lifted ridge caps, cracked pipe boots, chimney flashing that let go, a slope that shed shingles in a wind. Fixed the same week, patch matched to the roof.
- Roof maintenance A yearly walk: exposed nail heads resealed, valleys and gutters cleared, boots and flashing checked, and a short written report with photos for your records.
- Hail and wind damage inspection After a storm, with your permission, we go up, photograph every slope and show you what we found. You get the photos and a written estimate for your records, and you decide what to do with them.
- Emergency tarping When a storm opens a roof, a crew tarps the exposed decking the same day or the next morning so the inside stays dry until the repair is done.
- Gutters 5-inch and 6-inch seamless aluminum, run on site and hung the day the roof is finished, with downspouts placed where the water should go.
Three roofs, three homeowners, in their own words.
Review 1
Todd's first Google review goes here, quoted word for word: first name, last initial, town, the month and year, and the platform. Three real reviews are enough.
Review 2
The second review, paired with the photo of the job it describes. No star totals and no review counts appear until the Google Business Profile shows them.
Review 3
The third review. Until all three are real, this block stays as a labelled placeholder, never filled with made-up names.

Neither Missouri nor Texas issues a state roofing contractor licence. Ask for the certificate and we email it before the first bundle is delivered.
Thirty years on roofs, three offices, one owner.
Legendz Roofing works out of Sunset Hills in St. Louis County, out of Kansas City, and out of Spring, north of Houston. Todd Brown owns the company. Thirty years in the trade is the figure on the current site, and the exact founding year goes here once Todd confirms it. [Founding year: to confirm.]
Most of that work came after a storm, hail across St. Louis County and Kansas City, hurricanes and straight-line wind around Spring and The Woodlands, which is where you learn to photograph everything, write everything down and leave a lawn cleaner than you found it. We put architectural shingles on almost every house, we do not sell a roof when a repair will hold, and the estimate is itemized so you can compare it to anyone else's line by line.
The only thing I ask is to let us walk the roof before we price it. The only thing I promise is that the paper and the phone say the same number.

Questions people ask us.
- Do you need to get on my roof to give me a price?
- Only with your permission. We ask before the ladder goes up, photograph every slope, and show you the photos before we leave. If you would rather nobody climbs, we measure from the ground and the photos, and the estimate says so.
- How fast is the written estimate?
- Inside the week, by email, itemized, for your records. If you need it sooner, say so on the call and we move it up.
- What happens after a hailstorm or a hurricane?
- Call the nearest office. If water is coming in, a crew comes out the same day or the next morning to tarp the open spots. With your permission we photograph every slope, tell you what we saw, and put the repair or replacement in writing for your records. The photos and the estimate are yours. Nobody goes on the roof until you say so.
- How long does a replacement take?
- A single-family house with one layer of shingles takes one day with the full crew. Two layers, a steep pitch or a lot of dormers can push it to two. We tell you which before we start, and the roof is never left open overnight.
- Are you licensed?
- Neither Missouri nor Texas issues a state roofing contractor licence, so there is no state number to print. We are insured, the certificate is yours on request, and our local city and county registrations are on file. Ask for either on the first call.
